Banana Chia Smoothie (No blender required)


I have seen a lot of people throw away the ripe banana. But let me tell you something, the most black skinned banana has a lot of potassium and magnesium in it.

Potassium is needed in our body to keep us energized and strong all day long. Instead of reaching for an energy drink or coffee, one ripe banana a day is enough, don’t you think?


It not only gives us energy but also promotes weight loss by decreasing the blood sugar levels in our body.

But sometimes ripe banana tastes bland and chalky which most of us do not like. So I am going to share with an easy recipe for you to make a smoothie without the blender.

It is very healthy and definitely promotes weight loss. I have been drinking this for past two years and it is just amazing, you will see the difference.

On the other hand, chia seeds and cinnamon powder are very good natural ingredients that boosts weight loss. Chia seeds prevents constipation and eases digestion. Cinnamon lowers the blood sugar level and increases good cholesterol levels in our body.

This is how you make it 

Ingredients needed

  • Ripe banana – 1
  • Raw organic honey (optional) – 1 tbsp
  • Chia seeds – tsp
  • cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Tall glass – 1

  • Mash the banana using a fork in a tall glass or a large bowl.
  • Add cinnamon powder, chia seeds and honey.
  • Mix them well.
  • Now add milk and gently stir the contents.

  • Enjoy the smoothie!! You can use a long spoon if needed.


Drink this in the morning. It gives you ample energy and keeps you full till lunch.
